To Be or Not to Be

We've all heard the saying 'it will be if it's meant to be'. I say though that nothing is meant to be, everything is meant not to be. It is our minds that create these illusions of something 'other' than what is. Something that can, should, could, would, be. We have to stop striving to find something and creating stuff and we have to start losing everything and destroying our world, in order to truly BE.

Why is throwing money at something our first and most commonly used solution to problems. From something as huge as the Governments buyout of our entire financial system to our every day habit of throwing money at boredom. Is money truly the solution to all lifes problems or can we find a way to address our daily needs without money?

Who Votes?

"It's not who votes that counts, it's who counts the votes. Besides the fact that we don't live in a real true democracy. We don't elect the president, the Electoral College does. "United States is the only current example of an indirectly elected executive president, with an electoral college made up of electors representing the 50 states and one federal district. Each state has a number of electors equivalent to its total Congressional representation, with the non-state District of Columbia receiving three electors. The electors generally cast their votes according to the winner of the popular vote in their respective states, but in many cases are not required by law to do so." The left\right paradigm is a FRAUD. Its an illusion meant to separate you into red and blue flag waving idiots. The act of voting for the president is purely symbolic, Do you want the puppet on the left, or the puppet on the right? Don't think for a second Washington gives a fuck what you think."~Suburban

"While I appreciate the lesson on the electoral college, I am already very aware of how our election process works. It is true that Democrats and Republicans are slaves to their party, and their left right paradigm, but that doesn't mean that a new generation of free thinking political activists who actively support independent candidates or just sweeping reform in the current parties, can't make a difference. Not everyone is part of the system, not everyone can be bought and sold. If enough people rallied behind someone like Ron Paul or a brand new radical candidate outside the two party system we could put that person in to power. That is the great right of a democracy, and while the government has definitely skewed our ability to partake in the democratic process, it is our right and our duty to retake the ability to vote in and possibly be leaders of our nation. I support Barack Obama because he will make changes that are better for this country than what John Mccain would do. He will implement beneficial programs that would only be possible under an Obama administration as opposed to a McCain admin. The same as a Barr admin or a Nader admin would make much different decisions for the nation if either of those candidates had a greater chance of winning. If your response to "the elite" and higher ups in our governments attempts to make voting inconsequential is to not vote, than they've already won."~Zen

You're a Terrorist for Disagreeing with Me!

Article

"Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act"
S1959 is a highly controversial law that Joe Lieberman amongst others have just passed parts of that will essentially take away our right to protest. It aims to take any sort of disagreement that we the people may have about our government, corporations, animal rights, environmental protection, etc etc and turns our descent in to possible "terrorist actions" Any action we take that may be counter to what the people in power want can be considered "terrorism" I'm going to say it one more time, if we say "no" to the Government or question their motives, WE CAN BE LABELED TERRORISTS!

Is Ron Paul a terrorist? How about the "don't taze me bro" guy or Alex Jones or PETA or 9/11 Truth?

Please watch these videos, this shit is for real, Orwellian legislature taking away our Constitutional Rights one at a time.

John McCain LIES!

Even though in 2000 John McCain complained about the sleazy, below the belt, tactics George W. used under the guidance of Karl Rove, in 2008 those are the exact tactics, and the exact person running the campaign McCain now finds himself leading. Some people in the media and in the Obama campaign are afraid to use the word lie, but it has to be said, John McCain is LYING to us! He is distorting the truth to knowingly deceive the American people. If he is willing to do this during the campaign why wouldn't he do the same as president?

"My Summer Vacation"

Here is an awesome four part slide show of the highlights of my summer, Davis Park, Kings Park Asylum, Nine Inch Nails and Radiohead, and 9/11 Truth Rally. Best Summer Ever!

The Naivity of Sarah Palin

I cannot imagine this woman being one breath away from the Presidency. She is completely ignorant when it comes to foreign policy, she has absolutely no idea what the Bush Doctrine is, she doesn't hesitate to claim she understands Russia because it is so close to Alaska geographically, she still believes that Iraq was partially responsible for 9/11 even though EVERY reputable news organization in the world has stated that Saddam had nothing to do with Bin Ladin, she is all for starting more wars with Iran and Russia, I honestly didn't think I could disapprove of someone more than John McCain, but he out did himself this time.

The Candidates Stance on Marijuana

Large Hadron Collider

The largest scientific experiment ever accomplished by man. Described by it's creators as being able to find "God Particles" ie, the matter that existed the moment after the big bang happened. They are attempting to re create the beginning of the universe in a controlled atmosphere. Humanity may be on the brink of a great evolution in the way we understand our universe and how we got here.

I find the easiest and most entertaining way to learn about this experiment, is surprisingly in a rap that the scientists working on the project made...

On the Road: Davis Park Fire Island

About Me.

How does one describe themselves to the general population. Is it by explaining their profession or academic studies? Is it by expressing one's hobbies and favorite activities? Maybe by relating the esteem they hold for their family and friends.

Of course there is the option of expressing one's self in action and speech, without attempting to convey the past characteristics you have identified yourself with, as who you are in the present.

If you are a carpenter, you are only truly a carpenter when at the job. When at home you are a father or husband or aunt or sister. When at the store you are a customer; when on vacation you are a tourist.

So attempting to explain yourself as what you were from 9-5 today, or as the athlete you were this past weekend, or as the daughter of some prominent figure, will not ever really convey *who you are* at this very moment.

The only way to convey that is to be *you* and not the person you think you are, you wish to be, or others perceive you as.

So what would you like to know about me? Everything you'd ever need to know is somewhere on this page. MySpace, Facebook, Blogger, Digg, Google etc etc etc are systematically profiling us as consumers for their advertisements, and even more frighteningly as suspects in potential crimes.

Courts will look at your profile to see what kind of person you are, to decide what kind of punishment you deserve for a crime already committed. How far away is that though from courts or some independent surveillance system watching our profiles for possible school shooters, racists discrimination, political activism, or whatever else is deemed unbeneficial to society at large.

Think About It.

Miller High Life

You know those commercials where the large black guy is running in to restaurants and sporting complex box seats to take away the Miller High Life that's being sold for ridiculous prices along side $15 hamburgers? Well today as I strolled the beer isle for a cheap 12 pack, assuming it would end up being Budweiser, I noticed that Miller High Life was only $6.99 for a 12 pack!! "That shit is cheap" is what I thought to myself. I've most likely drank High Life less than 5 times in my entire life. The Champagne of Beer, yeah right? It is definitely not a delicious beer, but after finishing my first bottle I do have to admit it is just as good as Bud and Coors. When it comes down to beer, I love foreign beers, microbreweries, breweries that experiment with odd blends, etc. My favorite beers ever are Bluepoint Brewery, Becks, Victory, Magic Hat, Flying Dog, Yuengling, and of course Budweiser. However when it comes to buying cheap nasty beer I'll take Miller High Life over Natural Ice and Pabst Blue Ribbon any day.

John McCains Sr. Foreign Policy Adviser.

Enough about Sarah Palin, back to the actual Presidential candidate. Let's get to know one of his top foreign policy advisers, Randy Sheunemann. This guy is the epitome of back room dealing and American use of force to "spread democracy". He is a member of the Project for a New American Century, which has been alleged to have had nefarious intention either due to 9/11 or in preparation for. He is a neoconservative who believes that America is and should always be a "force for good" to fight all the "evil" in the world. While this may seem like a legitimate point of view, the spread of democracy he advocates is more of a spread of capitalism and control over a greater empire.

Recent Interview

Levi Johnston

"I'm a fucking redneck who likes to snow board and ride dirt bikes. But I live to play hockey. I like to go camping and hang out with the boys, do some fishing, shoot some shit, and just fuckin' chill I guess. Ya fuck with me I'll kick ass."
~Levi Johnson's MySpace Page
AKA Sarah Palin's daughters baby's daddy.

"If there was a black teenage male with a Myspace page that was anywhere comparable to that white kids Myspace page, and he was Barack Obamas daughters baby's daddy, the election would be over."
~From Real Time with Bill Maher

Ain't it the truth.

Oh and this comment from Levis Myspace is very telling as well.

"The latest entry reads: "ABORT ABORT ABORT."

"I've talked it over with Bristol, and I think we're going to have an abortion. I hope her mom doesn't find out about this ... does anybody know where the nearest abortion clinic is from Wasilla, AK??"

Since John McCain chose Sarah Palin this Levi kid has been put up to a shot gun wedding. He's being forced suddenly to marry this girl, have a kid and be in the national spot light, when all he wants to do is "shoot some shit" and abort the kid.

I feel for him.

E-ink

Check this out!

E-ink is most certainly the future. This magazine is out on stands right now in it's full e-ink, flashing words, flickering lights glory. How cool is that? I can't wait till this practice is less expensive and more widely accomplished. It would regenerate interest in a dying magazine and news paper market.

However with competition like this, e-ink in magazines may just be the last grasp at popularity for a dying industry.

DEA VS Marijuana

"Marijuana, in its natural form, is one of the safest therapeutically active substances known to man. By any measure of rational analysis marijuana can be safely used within a supervised routine of medical care ... The evidence in this record clearly shows that marijuana has been accepted as capable of relieving the distress of great numbers of very ill people, and doing so with safety under medical supervision. It would be unreasonable, arbitrary and capricious for DEA to continue to stand between those sufferers and the benefits of this substance in light of the evidence in this record."
— DEA Administrative Law Judge Francis L. Young, September 6, 1988

20 years ago this statement was made, and still no change in the level from schedule 1 to a lesser schedule has been made. It is ridiculously clear that marijuana helps patients suffering from cancer, AIDs, and many other deadly diseases. It is absolutely true that marijuana is less dangerous than alcohol and tobacco. It is widely accepted that millions upon millions of people from professionals to students, doctors to politicians all smoke marijuana whether for the medical benefits, the relaxing affect, the spiritual uses, or simply the recreational use. The people have made their demands of the legalization of weed by ignoring the laws prohibiting it. These laws are unconstitutional in their ability to take away our freedom to do whatever we please that doesn't hurt another person in our own home. Get with it Washington, state by state we are decriminalizing and allowing the use of medical marijuana. Yet the DEA and federal agencies are still busting patients whose doctors have prescribed marijuana, they are still closing down legal distributors of medical marijuana, they are still acting on their own accord to take the law in to their own hands when the people have decided they want that law changed!! What ever happened to a government for the people by the people?!

Palin's church hates gays and jews.

So if the right wing media is going to make such a big deal of Barack's pastor, this should most certainly be relevant information.  Sarah Palin goes to a church that openly attempt to make gays go to a seminar that will take the gay away through prayer and also freely claims that Gods wrath is being visited on the Jews in Israel for not believeing in Christ.  Wow.

"You'll be encouraged by the power of God's love and His desire to transform the lives of those impacted by homosexuality,"

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26567170/

"Brickner also described terrorist attacks on Israelis as God's "judgment of unbelief" of Jews who haven't embraced Christianity. "

gOOgle!

September 7th will mark the 10 year anniversary of the day Google was officially formed as a company. 10 years! and they have gone from a small start up search engine, to quite possibly the most powerful, important company in history. They now offer maps and directions, archived books, web site hosting, online documents, personalized home pages, gadgets, Google 411, they own YouTube, they are the biggest online advertiser, they are leading the way in green technology and soon will be offering the first widely available open source phone operating system. They have Picasa for photos, blogger for blogging, Google News to catch up on every day events and just this week they released their first web browser, Chrome. Is there anything that Google can't do? Sure there are a few things that Google isn't doing right now, like offering 3G service, a cloud OS, or espresso, but I am sure that is all on the way. Google is an innovative leader, not only in technology and internet search, but in life. They are a prime example of how all influential companies should operate. Spreading their influence in to many major areas and doing it free for every day users, using the motto "don't be evil" on the way. God how I love Google.

NASA Explosion!

How well does John McCain know Sarah Palin?

He had his first face-to-face interview with her on Thursday and offered her the job moments later.

“They didn’t seriously consider her until four or five days from the time she was picked, before she was asked, maybe the Thursday or Friday before,” said a Republican close to the campaign. “This was really kind of rushed at the end, because John didn’t get what he wanted. He wanted to do Joe or Ridge.”

Who is Sarah Palin???

* She was elected Alaska 's governor a little over a year and a half ago. Her previous office was mayor of Wasilla, a small town outside Anchorage. She has no foreign policy experience.
1
* Palin is strongly anti-choice, opposing abortion even in the case of rape or incest.
2
* She supported right-wing extremist Pat Buchanan for president in 2000.
3
* Palin thinks creationism should be taught in public schools.
4
* She's doesn't think humans are the cause of climate change.
5
* She's solidly in line with John McCain's "Big Oil first" energy policy. She's pushed hard for more oil drilling and says renewables won't be ready for years. She also sued the Bush administration for listing polar bears as an endangered species—she was worried it would interfere with more oil drilling in Alaska.
6
* How closely did John McCain vet this choice? He met Sarah Palin once at a meeting. They spoke a second time, last Sunday, when he called her about being vice-president. Then he offered her the position.
7

This is information the American people need to see. Please take a moment to forward this email to your friends and family.

We also asked Alaska MoveOn members what the rest of us should know about their governor. The response was striking.
Here's a sample:

She is really just a mayor from a small town outside Anchorage who has been a governor for only 1.5 years, and has ZERO national and international experience. I shudder to think that she could be the person taking that 3AM call on the White House hotline, and the one who could potentially be charged with leading the US in the volatile international scene that exists today. —Rose M.
, Fairbanks, AK

She is VERY, VERY conservative, and far from perfect. She's a hunter and fisherwoman, but votes against the environment again and again. She ran on ethics reform, but is currently under investigation for several charges involving hiring and firing of state officials. She has NO experience beyond Alaska. —Christine B.
, Denali Park, AK

As an Alaskan and a feminist, I am beyond words at this announcement. Palin is not a feminist, and she is not the reformer she claims to be. —Karen L.
, Anchorage, AK

Alaskans, collectively, are just as stunned as the rest of the nation. She is doing well running our State, but is totally inexperienced on the national level, and very much unequipped to run the nation, if it came to that. She is as far right as one can get, which has already been communicated on the news. In our office of thirty employees (dems, republicans, and nonpartisans), not one person feels she is ready for the V.P. position.—Sherry C.
, Anchorage, AK

She's vehemently anti-choice and doesn't care about protecting our natural resources, even though she has worked as a fisherman. McCain chose her to pick up the Hillary voters, but Palin is no Hillary. —Marina L.
, Juneau, AK

I think she's far too inexperienced to be in this position. I'm all for a woman in the White House, but not one who hasn't done anything to deserve it. There are far many other women who have worked their way up and have much more experience that would have been better choices. This is a patronizing decision on John McCain's part- and insulting to females everywhere that he would assume he'll get our vote by putting "A Woman" in that position.—Jennifer M.
, Anchorage, AK

So Governor Palin is a staunch anti-choice religious conservative. She's a global warming denier who shares John McCain's commitment to Big Oil. And she's dramatically inexperienced.

In picking Sarah Palin, John McCain has made the religious right very happy. And he's made a very dangerous decision for our country.

In the next few days, many Americans will be wondering what McCain's vice-presidential choice means. Please pass this information along to your friends and family.

Thanks for all you do.

Coup d'etat

"Flanked by the Thai national flag, huge photos of the king and queen and "most wanted" posters of Thaksin and his wife, protesters said they had no grand scheme to reinvent government. They just want the current government tossed out.

"The Cabinet must resign and they all must be imprisoned," said Thiwa Thongkaew, a 43-year-old office worker from the tourist resort of Krabi."

Article

For about a week now over 30,000 Thai protesters have over run the prime minister's office in an attempt to make him resign. They think that he his Corrupt and has too many ties to the former PM who was ousted in a coup d'etat in 2006. The most recent developments though are that union leaders and utility companies in the country have joined the fight.

They've cut off electricity, water and phone to the government office's and the trains and airports aren't running. This is a highly coordinated strike at the leader they want ousted. And it didn't occur because all 30,000 of them collaborated and decided to do this.

It was a general consensus among a large group which was a call to arms to the rest of the country to join in. It is an attempt at a completely bloodless coup. One that is very symbolic of the peoples true power in a democracy; the ability to tell your leader you want them out, and having the ability to take actions that will force them out.

Why is it that here in America even though millions of people call for the impeachment of George W. nothing is done about it. Millions of people in America VS 30,000 in Thailand. It is because we don;t take action like the people of Thailand decided to do. They got up walked in to the leaders office and said "You're Fired".
